THE APPOINTMENT

For musculo-skeletal conditions the initial appointment will be up to 45 minutes duration. You will be asked questions relating to your symptoms, followed by a practical assessment.

This subjective and objective assessment process enables your physiotherapist to make an informed diagnosis and therfore plan your treatment. We can discuss what form the treatment will take, what techniques may be used, and what you can do at home to support your treatment.

For vestibular conditions the initial appointment will be up to 60 minutes duration.

In each case follow up appointments will be up to 30 minutes duration.

The dedicated clinic room is air conditioned. You are welcome to be accompanied if you wish. For clients under 18 years of age we legally require a parent or guardian to be present at each treatment session.

You will be given advice and a programme of exercises specific to your problem. Each treatment session will be tailored to your requirements.

Our aim is to get you better as quickly as we can.

We accept referrals from consultants and GP’s, or you can self refer.

We have excellent connections with consultants in the Sussex and Surrey areas allowing access to a specialist opinion if required.

THE COSTS

If you are covered by private medical insurance it may be possible to claim the costs of your physiotherapy treatment from your insurer, subject to any policy excess you may have

Your insurer may require you to have a doctors referral before making a claim. Please check with your insurance company what their policy is for making a claim.

The clinic is registered with all the major insurance companies and is an approved BUPA and AXA PPP provider. Insurance companies are usually billed directly.

If self funding it is possible to pay for your treatment by Bank transfer (BACS). This is our preferred method of payment. It is also possible to pay by cheque or cash.
